New Brunswick, NJ--The Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) and New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NAES) Office of Communications will be awarded the 2008 Team Award from the Executive Dean's office at tonight's 15th annual SEBS and NJAES "Celebration of Excellence" Awards Ceremony. The award will be presented by Robert M. Goodman, executive dean of agriculture and natural resources.

The group was nominated by Bob Hills, associate dean of academic programs and research, to recognize their handling of Rutgers' Transforming Undergraduate Education initiative and the new Rutgers University identity system. The Office of Communications designed the look and feel of all publications, websites and other promotional material for SEBS and NJAES. They worked throughout 2007 to develop new materials for the school, such as letterhead, folders, pens and banners.

"The Office of Communications took the challenge of not only formally launching the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, but by revamping the look of all printed materials for use by the administration, faculty, and staff of the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station," said Hills.

The Office of Communications includes Mike Green, director, Gary Huntzinger, assistant director, Amanda Kolling, executive communications specialist, Patty Kastner, special events coordinator, Lori Casciano, senior graphic designer, Phil Wisneski and Bonnie Wasielewski, web designers; Michele Hujber, writer and editor, Lori Gillar, bookkeeper and Kerensa Wood, assistant graphic designer.
